Several unfortunate events conspired to end these rapper's careers just as they were entering their prime.

1)Pop Smoke

Pop Smoke (July 20, 1999 – February 19, 2020),real name is Bashar Barakah Jackson. He was an American rapper born and raised in Canarsie, Brooklyn.



On February 19, 2020 around 4:30 a.m. , five hooded men, including one wearing a ski mask and carrying a handgun, broke into the house Pop Smoke was renting in Hollywood Hills, California through a second-story balcony while Jackson was taking a shower.The intruders held a gun to a woman's head and threatened to kill her. Shortly thereafter, the woman heard the men shoot Jackson three times after an altercation.

The LAPD received news of the home invasion from a call from the East Coast. Police arrived at the home six minutes later and found Jackson with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where doctors performed a thoracotomy on the left side of his chest.[60] A few hours later, he was pronounced dead.

The day before his murder, Jackson and friend Michael Durodola posted several images on social media, including one in which Mellencamp's home address can be seen in the background. The rapper also posted a story on Instagram and Facebook of gifts he had received. One showed the house's full address on the packaging, giving out its location.


2)King Von

King Von real name is Dayvon Daquan Bennett (August 9, 1994 – November 6, 2020). He was an American rapper from Chicago, Illinois.


On November 6, 2020, at around 2:15 a.m., King Von and his crew were involved in an altercation with Quando Rondo's crew outside of the Monaco hookah lounge in Atlanta, Georgia. The dispute quickly escalated into gunfire, and Bennett was shot multiple times. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition and died there later that day. On November 14, 2020, King Von was buried in Chicago, Illinois


3)Young Dolph

Adolph Robert Thornton Jr. (July 27, 1985 – November 17, 2021), better known by his stage name Young Dolph, was an American rapper born in Chicago Illinois and raised in Memphis.

On November 17, 2021, Young Dolph was fatally shot in Memphis whilst visiting Makeda's Homemade Butter Cookies, a bakery he frequented whenever he was back home. Two gunmen in a white two-door Mercedes-Benz gunned him down.[41][12][42] An autopsy revealed that Thornton had 22 gunshot wounds from bullet entries and exits. Some wounds were sustained in the forehead and back. Young Dolph was laid to rest on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

4)Nipsey Hussle 

Nipsey Hussle (often stylized as Nipsey Hu$$le) (August 15, 1985 – March 31, 2019) real name is Airmiess Joseph Asghedom . He was an American rapper, entrepreneur, and activist.

On March 31, 2019, Hussle was shot at least 10 times in the parking lot of his store, Marathon Clothing, in South Central Los Angeles at 3:18 p.m. The perpetrator also kicked Hussle in the head. Two others were wounded in the shooting. All three victims were transported to a hospital, where Hussle was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. 


5)FBG Duck

FBG Duck (December 6, 1999 - August 4, 2020) real name is Carlton Weekly. He was an American rapper from Chicago Illinois.

On August 4, 2020, FBG Duck was standing on a sidewalk when four masked gunmen opened fire, shooting the hometown rapper multiple times. He was announced dead the same day.The shooting occurred in the Gold Coast area, a luxury and boutique shopping district near the city's downtown.
